Kinja'd!!!

I really want to start doing timed and for fun road rallies. I know there are a few in CA like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (expensive as hell ) , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (their site is old so IDK when the 2018 running is/was).

But like most vehicle events they mostly have terrible websites and run by older crowds (at least for vintage rallies ) and that makes them hard to find. Pl us all of these have already occured.

Then there timed SCCA events, but their !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Anyone in the CA area know of anything going on the rest of the year? Thanks

*I really just need to get the Healey done for the vintage rallies

Sounds like you should road-trip east for the Oppo Rally.

TSD Rallys are super fun, look for a local rally club. They are around.

This is our local site;

Looks like lots of fun, but a little more off road than I feel comfortable taking any of my vehicles.

Yeah that would be fun if there wasn’t a country in the middle

If only your lazy-ass friends would get off their ass and sell stuff/ make more money and time for their old project , then they could go driving with you...

When I was 16 my dad’s friends had a green ‘66 912 and a green ‘92 Mustang LX 5.0 . So we did the “Green Car Rally” out to Parkfield a couple of times. Always wanted to make that a semi-regular thing. Up early for a blast out the backroads and pancake breakfast at the Parkfield Cafe. You work on the Healey, I’ll work on the Lancia, we’ll get breakfast. In the meantime, once I have the 911, you bring the GTO and we’ll have to find somebody with a red car to make the Red, White, and Blue rally.

Yeah those lazy bastards ;)

That sounds like a damn fun time to me. More fun in a group than solo runs for sure.

Midcoast as in “in the middle of the two coasts”
